My baby's ashes came today!!
My little Snickers is back home with us. I went to my moms and there was a paper to pick up a package at the post office after 4. I couldn't wait til 4 so I drove around the neighborhood and searched for my mailman. I finally found him and he looked at the box and said this is a pet, I said yeah, you've been driving around with my little Snicky all day. I wanted to kill my mom for the urn she ordered. The way the picture frame on the urn is set up, you have to open the whole thing up to put the picture in. My brother and I had to do it together, freaking out the whole time, but it wasn't as bad as we thought. He thought the ashes would scatter as soon as we opened the urn. All was OK and we put the picture in and it is on top of my moms entertainment center in the living room. My baby is home. Sad thing, she was so sick when she died, that the certificate from the creamatory says she only weighed 3 pounds. 6 months ago this cat weighed 16 pounds!! My poor girl.

THE RAINBOW BRIDGE
There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth. It is called the Rainbow Bridge because of its many colors.
Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge there is a land of meadows, hills and valleys with lush green grass. When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this place.
There is always food and water and warm spring weather. The old and frail animals are young again. Those who are maimed are made whole again. They play all day with each other.
There is only one thing missing. They are not with their special person who loved them on Earth.
So, each day they run and play until the day comes when, one suddenly stops playing and looks up! The nose twitches! The ears are up! The eyes are staring! And this one suddenly runs from the group!
You have been seen, and when you and your special friend meet, you take him or her in your arms and embrace,
Your face is kissed again and again and again, and you look once more into the eyes of your trusting pet.
Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together, never again to be separated...
