My Bailey is not using one of her back legs UPDATE #2
and I am terrified something major is wrong. We came back from church today and she wasn't just limping, she was straight out not putting her rear left leg down.
The top of her paw does appear swollen.....
The vet is getting a phone call in the AM
UPDATE: My wonderful neighbor is taking her to the vet as we speak. DH is working all day, my grandma is busy till 3pm, and I have the 2 kids so it was near impossible for me to get her there myself.
God Bless nice Neighbors!
UPDATE #2: They are keeping her for a few hours to sedate and x-ray her hips and knee and leg. Oh G-d....if something is majorly wrong with her I may lose my sanity. I'm on the verge of tears now....

Re: My Bailey is not using one of her back legs UPDATE #2
The Vet thinks it could be Cruciate rupture....common in fast growing larger breed dogs like Rottweilers.
We'll find out soon.

My dog had a cruciate rupture. It's a pretty intense surgery but she was up and walking in no time. Hugs to Bailey and those wonderful neighbors of yours
