My Best Friend Needs Prayers. Updated - Everything Is Good
My best friend (and Michael's babysitter) is preggo with baby #2 and when she want to the midwife last night she could not find the baby's heartbeat but my friend still has all the signs of being preggo. She is going today at noon for a special sonogram just to make sure that everything is ok. Please pray that everything is ok with the baby. 
Update - Everything is good with her & the baby.

I hope everything is OK.
This actually happened to me last week. I went to see my doc about spotting and when she went to use the doppler she couldn't find the heartbeat. She immediately sent me to L&D for a quick sono... I'll tell you it was the longest drive across the street to the hospital. Everything turned out fine, they baby was just positioned in a weird way.

That is what her midwife and doula (sp?) told her. They tried to send her to L&D last night but they were crowded so that is why she is going to the someplace else. She has no spotting or bleeding, has morning sickness, her clothes don't fit and she is starting to get a belly so everything looks like it is good.
When my mom's friend came this morning to watch my DS, he gave her a nasty look so I had to tell him that Kristine (my friend) is coming tomorrow then he started to smile. So even he missed her today.

I spoke to her DH and he said that she is a lot calmer than he is. Her midwife has a sonogram machine but the one that they are going to use on her for this special sonogram is more advanced.
