My BIL got engaged on Saturday!
My MIL is getting rid of ALL her kids this year!! 2 Married within 6 months and the other one engaged 1 week after the last wedding 
They are looking to get married next June-Sept and my DH is the Best man
PS. I don't like her and feel VERY strongly this is the WRONG girl for him, but he is happy so thats all that matters to me!

But congrats to your DH on being the Best Man!! Are YOU in this BP too?
If this is the one you told me about then I agree that this might not be the girl for him. But you are right - all you can do is be happy for him if he is happy - so congrats to them!

Yup this is the one I told you about.
I was a little annoyed b/c they got engaged Sat. night and Sunday morning was Dh's cousin's bridal shower. I know she was really excited but my MIL asked her to keep it a secret just until Monday b/c it was this Bride's day. Well she didn't really SAY anything so only me my sil, and my mil knew. But she was flashing her ring left and right that EVERYONE knew before the shower was even over. The other bride 2 be even caught wind of it.
I didn't think that was very nice
And as far as I know I am not in the bp. From what I understand she dosen't even want her own sisters in it
ETA: When my BIL called my MIL and told him her reaction was PRICELESS

I'm sure the other bride was okay. The same thing happened at my bridal shower. It was somewhat annoying to hear everyone saying "OH, let me see the ring", but the focus of the day was still on me.

congrats to him.
i know what u mean about waiting a day. i got engaged the day of my cousin's sweet 16. i was going to tell me cousin at the end of the night. but my stupid arse of a cousin(not the sweet 16 girl) told my cousin. i apologized to say i was going to tell her. she said don't worry about. your bil fw, does she like the attention

Yes she does. She not obvious about it.. she one of those people who is always "sick" so that she gets attention that way..She always has something wrong with her
