My birth story

Hey Everyone,

First off, thank you for all your support during my pregnancy and FMs.

My story is very short and simple. I was scheduled for a c-section on November 15th. I arrived at the hospital at 6:30 am. I was hooked up to the heartbeat monitor and heard my little babies heartbeat. After that they were going to put the IV in me, but I have such terrible veins that my doctor told me to wait until he got there to get it put in. Of course the nurse did not want to wait and was about to try and just then my doctor walked in. He put a very small IV in me and I did not feel it at all. This was around 7:15-7:30. My mom, dad and grandma came in to say hi to me. Around 8:00 the Anesthesiologist came in and asked me some questions. 8:30 I walked into the delivery room. The catheter was inserted and then I got the spinal. I did not feel a thing at all when he put it in. Around 8:45 they brought my husband in and at 9:05 my little boy was born. They announced that it was a boy and I heard his first cry which was a wonderful sound to hear. I was so happy to hear that I had a little boy. It was so worth waiting for 9 months. He was 8 pounds 14 ounces and 21 inches. They took him to clean him up and cut his umbilical cord and I was able to see him because it was done next to where I was laying.

I was then sent to recovery and was able to go to my own room at 11:30 am and at that time they brought me my little boy. For the first 5 days of his life, he had no name. We had a girls name picked out and a boys name, but when I saw him I did not think he looked like a Jack. I love the name, but he was just not a Jack in eyes. It is funny practically every picture taken had me with a name book in my hand every going into the delivery room. So a half hour before we were being discharged, we decided on Justin. We left without giving him a middle name and on the day of his Bris we gave him Lee as a middle name for my husbands grandma and my grandma.

He was born with so much hair and these long fingers. He is so cute and I love being his mother.

I am attaching a pic from him on Thanksgiving. He is 9 days old in this picture.

I am so happy to hear that everything went smoothly and that mommy and baby and family are gdoing great

try the image resizer that usually works its on the top of the page next to forum mail

I would love to see pictures as I am sure everyone else is busting to see as well

Glad all went well!!! You can use the image resizer try and just use the reduce dimensions one though and use like 50% that should work!! I just had to do this today. I tried 60% but it was still to big. Can't wait to see pics. Glad you are doing well and things are going so great!!!
