My body hates me
My body is totally out of whack...I got AF on Sunday, it has been super light but definitely red (sorry TMI). Now today, it is totally gone. Only 1 1/2 days of AF??????? so random
Do you think it makes sense to call my OB. I think my leutal phase this month was only 9 days. I am wondering if this warrants a call to the OB?

It wouldn't hurt to call!
People with shorter LPs have definitely gotten pregnant (e.g., davenjess) but if you aren't getting pregnant after a while... that could be the cause - KWIM?
You want to make sure your body has enough time to let the embyro implant into the uterine wall.
Also, my worry with a super short & light AF is that your lining isn't getting thick enough...
I would definitely say speak to the doctor - if anything, at least for peace of mind!

i think any time AF is remarkably short or long warrants a call to the doc.
i never had an LP longer than 9 days and we successfully got pregnant, so it definitely can happen....
i also had VERY short periods - not 1 1/2 days - but never longer than 3 days...and to be blunt - i never bled 'outwardly'...i'd only know i have my period by wiping. Because of the short LP and the length and 'weirdness' of my periods - the RE was concerned about the 'quality of my remaining eggs'.
we were successful the month we were to begin treatment, so I guess my eggs were good enough...but i'd definitely at least reach out to your doc!

I currently take a B-6 complex and folic acid daily due to the clotting disorder that I have - MTHFR
I have a call into my OB

When my sister complained of the same thing it wasn't really her period it was her second daughter. Did you test? She used a tampon and everything. She was sure it was af.

what treatment did they recommend?
He did an internal - to see if i had PCOS (i didn't).
We were going to do an HSG to check for blockages, i was then going to do a "Clomid Challenge" - to check on my egg numbers and quality of those eggs. There's a full description of the plan here - at my RE's website. The link points to the page with the info on the Clomid Challenge.

ETA: i was 33 1/2 when we were to be tested, etc. He was concerned not MOSTLY about my age, but the short LP and my egg 'quality'. I have my RE's notes and that's all over my chart.....

Smarty pants!!!!
The reason I would test is because AF was so short. I know a few people who have red bleeding but they were PG. I don't want to create false hope but I would not rule it out either.

That's great that you are getting in so soon!
And of course - I am praying that Sophie is right and it was just some crazy spotting for a day!
