my car was in a hit and run this morning in front of my house
i was in the shower and heard a bang.... got done with what i had to do to go out... get to my car and that bang was MY CAR
i pulled my car out of my drive way this morning to let my daughters camp bus pull out.. they keep it here over night... and did not even think to put it back in my drive way... now my whole passenger door is crushed in

uhhhh I feel your pain. I was drinving in the city a few weeks ago and a guy on a bike riding down a huge hill not looking drove right into the side of my car did more then 2K worth of damage, got back on his bike and took off!
I know its just a car but my car is less then 3 months old and now i have to pay $500 ded. to get it fixed

ugggh that really stinks!! I'm so sorry to hear that..I know how you feel
DH and I had a car totaled right in front of our house xmas morning, in 2005. We weren't home, we were in the emergency room all night with my MIL and whe we got home our car was destroyed and pieces of it were on our front lawn and across the street 
Oddly enough not one person/neighbor saw nor heard anything 
I feel for you and hope it all works out!!

My DH had his truck parked at his house years years ago when we were dating
a maxima hit his blazer and it was on his lawn at 2am!
the kids were trying to PUSH their car away from the scene!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (they were drunk but no charges were filed on that) DH truck was totaled!

Im sorry....About a month ago this guy I work with was backing out of the parking lot and hit my car and then started speeding off, luckily 2 other employees saw him do it, I then immediately sent him an email and he played it off saying he couldnt stop cause he was in a rush, i did get an estimate and he paid for it, but thank god my other employees saw,or I would have gotten nada

just got back from the auto shop and they said it can take a week as long as there are no problems..... so now i just have to find a car i can use so i can set this up... it looks sooooo bad and i have been so upset about this i really do not want to use my vacation days to do this.

I sooo feel your pain!! Mine was hit at 3am a year ago infront of my house.. the lady took off before my alarm even finished.. I was lucky tho i called the cops right away and they caught the b!tch. Turned out she hit someone elses car down the block too. I had just finished paying off my car two months prior and it was totalled. People suck!
