my cat is so mad at me
we have an automatic doggie door for Hershey... he wears a collar & when he gets within a certain distance of the door, it opens for him... well, sometimes he has a habit of just standing there with the door open looking inside to see whats going on... aparently, our cat has been taking that opportunity to escape lol
DH found the cat and the dog just hanging out on the back porch one time when he came home from being out & i caught the cat red handed GOING THROUGH the doggie door
so i started confining him to the 2nd floor of the house -- i found him meowing at the baby gate yesterday when i came home from work.. it was so sad but it needs to be done! lol

I'm surprised he doesn't just scale the gate! My cat used to jump over our 6 foot fence to get into our neighbors yard.

my cat is pretty lazy... he's going to be 9 in august so he doesnt do much lol he's also very fat

hahah that is so funny. It's a shame cats will not just stay in the yard otherwise you could let them roam free.
Stubby can scale anything we actually were looking into a "cat fence" if we were going to allow her out but it looks awful.

i hear ya... we thought about a cat fence too... miller LOVES to be outside, but he is older & fat so that scares me having him being outside

That'll do it. Our cat hated being indoors he loved it outside, we'd find him on the roof or at the top of a tree pretty much til the day he died.
