My cell won't charge...
Its a great phone - Verizon LG VX6100 .... I've never had this problem before!
I plugged it in to charge, and the charging light won't go on, and it doesn't say "charging". I tried a different outlet, same thing.
Has anyone had this problem before? My software is all updated, and it charged yesterday, no problem.
Anything I could try before I bring it to Verizon? My 1 yr warranty is up a couple weeks ago, so I'd have to pay for anything they do.

It COULD be the charger itself, right? I guess I could try Rich's charger later - we have the same phone.

Try removing the battery and putting it back in - then try to charge it again.
Try charging it from the car
It is possible that your charger is bad
It is possible that the battery is permenantly dead - You would just need to get another battery

tHEY TOLD ME TO SHOCK MY PHONE .. DON'T TURN IT OFF BUT UNCLIP THE BACK TAKE THE BATTERY OUT AND BLOW.. THEN RESTART

I cleaned all the contacts, reset the phone (shocked it - thanks Lisa), and its still not right.
I forcefully held the charger into the phone itself, and the charge light clicked on - so the charger isn't getting far enough in there to charge it.
I guess I just need to buy a new charger! I'll check it on Rich's later, just to be sure, but I think that's it.
Anyone know where I can get one, or approx how much? I need it ASAP.

OH i am glad it is the chargerand not the phone but whatever you do ...don't go to the kiosks in the mall THEY STIIIIIIINKO .. go to the store (verizon)

we had the same problem, I needed a charger.
Could also be the battery

Yup, its definitely the charger.
I can buy one at the Verizon store for $30, or I could order online for $5.95....depends how soon I need it....

Oh ok - DH's last phone we got in Sept 2004.
The charger that I have is sitting here - but I am not sure if it will help you.
