My Christmas tree isn't drinking!
It was fresh cut; it's not dry at all...I just notice it's not drinking that much. I would NOT want to take it all down to fresh cut it again....I'm just being careful with the lights. Anyone else have this issue?

How long ago did you get it? was it frozen when you got it? If so, I would wait a few days to let it "thaw out"

try drilling a few SMALL holes and not deep towards the bottom of the trunk

meaning was it outside when you bought it? it's cold outside and the trees freeze up.
