My cycle has been changing
I was usually getting AF anywhere from 26 to 25 days. The last two months I have gotten it 24 days. Is this any reason for concern. I went to my new OB/GYN in January and he was not really good at listen to my thoughts and concerns. But, would this be a sign of anything. I mean I should go see a doctor to get their opinions. Also would a female OB/GYN be more understanding and helpful? Any imput would be helpful.

Re: My cycle has been changing
I range from 28-30 days. I'll get her on CD28 for 2 months, then CD 29, back to 28, and this last one like CD30. I don't think that there is any reason for concern, as long as it's pretty close.

Re: My cycle has been changing
It depends. On what CD do you usually O? My only concern would be that you might have a short luteal phase if you are getting AF less than 10 days after you ovulate. If you find that to be the case, you might want to talk to your Dr. about ways to lengthen your luteal phase. If that isn't the case, then you just have a short cycle. HTH!

Re: My cycle has been changing
I would not be too concerned at this point. I have had varying cycles too. I can go 2 months with cycles of 30 days & then jump to 42 the next. The only thing that does stay consistent is my luteal phase, which is 14 days...My Dr didn't seem concerned at all...

I had mention the same situation to my Gyno when I last saw him. I range anywhere form 26-32 days. When I first got AF, for years I was 28 days. As I gotten older it has changed alot. HTH

ITA. You may have a short luteal phase which can be treated. also, IMO, there's no difference in care between a male and female ob/gyn - as long as you are comfortable.
