My dad passed away last week.....
And even though I knew it was coming it still doesn't make sense and seems surreal.
My father was a remarkable man who did a lot of good in the world. He was only 70 and I can't shake the feeling that both he and my family were cheated. I keep telling myself that he got to experience things that so many people never get and that he lived to see 4 grandchildren and see his children settled but it still sucks.
To add insult to injury my mil died just 10 months ago and it feels so wrong that my kids have to lose 2 grandparents in less than a year.
I'm not sure what I'm even trying to say, other than I can't believe how hard this is.
