My dad popped in this morning for a suprise
We have clothes hanging everywhere that got wet from the storm last night, empty wine bottles complete with stains on the counter, and a filthy bathroom that was going to be cleaned today!
But it was still so nice to see him since we dont get together that often. My little brother is getting so big - hes 9 years old and 4'11"!!!!!!
Anyway I just thought Id share, I LOVE suprises like that!

Dad's usually don't notice that stuff. We usually care more about it than they do.
My DH's friend stopped by last night and gave him the grand tour of our new house. I was so  because the bathroom upstairs was a mess... stuff on the counter, trash pretty full, and whenever I straighten my hair (Friday morning) I shed more than my Golden REtreiver  (sorry, ewwww, I know). I was so embarrassed, I just got home and didn't get a chance to clean up.
I always get nervous when my IL's stop by because my FIL has OCD and is a NEAT FREAK... everything is put away, scrubbed, dusted, etc. at all times.
My brother is like Pig Pen so he doesn't notice.
