I highly recommend taking your child there for a memory to last a lifetime. I did spend a near fortune but she's only 5 years old once in her lifetime.

Cute! We did a birthday celebration there one year, and it was so adorable. The cake and doll/girl crowns were just the cutest!

Aw, I love it! I can't wait until my DD is old enough to go there. My mom and sister have been talking about taking her since she was born (first granddaughter/niece after all boys).

We just did the birthday celebration on 10/6 for my DD and it was outstanding. I am so glad to read that you had an amazing time too. We (my mom, MIL, my grandma, DD and I) all said that it was magical. We all want to go back. It was one of the most special days of my life and we all felt the same way about it. I did not think it would be as amazing as it was, but for us, it 1000% lived up to the hype.
Some tips - search on LIF for the NYC parking app. I was able to get midtown NYC parking for $10 and then we took a cab up the 6 blocks. For less than $20 to park in NYC is great. Also, book a personal shopper. You need to have a code - they mention it in the AG catalogue but they give out free stuff. There is no shopping minimum and having a place to sit for older family members is great. Also, we did the birthday package for lunch. I felt it was worth it for the goodies that you get which would cost you more if you did it separately. If you only have one or two kids with you the price is not that different for the adults to make it over the top expensive. HTH

I know a few 10 year olds that are still into AG and would love this. Depends on the kid I guess. Some are into thongs and boys at that age, not dolls

We go to eat there often for the regular meals, and I can honestly say, I've never seen a dad. But, they do have a special event night that is geared toward dads and daughters. They make a craft and have a meal.

Thanks again everyone! My husband did go, he's such a trooper! In fact, I have an adorable pic of them to post at another time when I'm on my desktop. We did the lunch package, $37 for the birthday child and $27 for the others. Just a tip-if you're interested in getting a dolls hair styled as soon as you get there go make the appointment! The wait
could be several hours. For ear piercing, they do it right away. Besides the two dolls we bought Chloe this day, she also got a Spa Set and Gymnastics Set(both real-life looking) as well as tons of outfits! Yes, I am broke now
