My DD does not look good...
And Im terrified. Shes 3 months...she got a shot yesterday I freaking hate those damn vaccines. Today she is coughing so much she chokes, her eyes are red and her nose is running. She has 99.8 fever. Does this happen after a shot or do you think shes caught something?

That fever is not that high and quite normal after shots. I know how you feel. Sydnie was fine after her 2 month shots but was off after her 3 month ones. Don't worry she'll be fine but maybe give a call to the ped.
I hate vaccines too!

Re: My DD does not look good...
My DD was a frickin nightmare after hers..she didnt sleep for 2 nights, she was in pain and a HUGE fuss ball. Low grade fever is normal, give her tylenol, helped my DD...i am dreading her 4 months in a few weeks..they give like 4 at a time, ugh...i swear, i dont think i am going that day, i am going to make DH go!

Re: My DD does not look good...
The slightly elevated fever is normal after vaccines, but a runny nose and cough IMO are not. She probably caught a little cold
They bounce back quickly from the shots. I'm sure she will be feeling like herself again in no time.
Oh, and DD (17 months) has had a different rxn everytime to the shots....sometimes a low grade fever, sometimes extra sleepy, sometimes extra grumpy, sometimes completely normal. Don't stress over the next round now b/c you won't know how she will react until afterwards (hopefully she won't react at all!).

Re: My DD does not look good...
I'm pretty sure, a temp is not a fever until at least 100.3, even in a three month old. I could be wrong. Hope she's feeeling better soon
