My DH lost it last night
Christopher was changed to Gentlease..which is NOT made in ready made so I have to mix and started using the Dr. Browns bottles..are a pain to clean We hgave him so Maalox so I think it helped a little, but he is now fussy when taking the bottle...never did before. They both were crying at the same time, and DH fed Chrsi and he would NOT take th ebottle, so he was like "Shut up"...Im NOT meant to do this. Then he put Chris down and went in side and slammed the door. Matthew is still on the same bottles and formula....why fix something that is NOT broken. I just needed to vent. But they did sleep more than 3 hours last night

Re: My DH lost it last night
MY DH was the same way the night before last. He put Michael back in ihis crib screaming and told the baby to "cry himself to sleep if he doesn't want his bottle." I know he is sleep deprived, but c'mon, he is fighting wth a 9 week old!

I'm sure it has to be frustrating when you can not soothe your crying baby. He probably felt defeated! Not that its an excuse...I'm sure it will get easier in time.

Re: My DH lost it last night
I've found it's very frustrating when the baby seems hungry but doesn't seem to try to eat. I've read that you're always supposed to take 3 deep breaths to try to eliminate the stress before even attempting the task at hand. I'm sure over time things will get easier for you and your DH!

its very frustrating when you dont know what they want or what to do to soothe him. DH and i have both had our moments. Its normal. I am sure your DH is over it already.

Re: My DH lost it last night
My DH did something similar when Ryan was about 6 weeks. He felt so terrible, I came home and he (DH) was crying. Thats one baby, things will get easier with time

Things have gotten better..thanks. The boys are now sleeping 3-4 hours...it varies. They seem to sleep more during the day and less at night But they are on schedule and I dont wake them up anymore...I wait for them to let me kno wthey are hungry and they have been like clockwork. Thanks
They just seem to want more in their bottles, so we give them a little more at night and they have been doing fine. A little fussy, but the Ped. said to give them a little Maalox and that helps A LOT!!!!
