My dh was going over our bank account
and was asking me what the $40 at party city were for. I just said stuff and tried to leave it at that. He was going on and on about what kind of stuff. I couldn't think of anything and I said that it was little gag gifts for turning 30. He said to return it because he doesn't want anything.
Ummmm my guess is that he's not going to be too thrilled that I'm throwing a big party for him... 
HE NEVER GOES OVER OUR BANK ACCT!!! I didn't have cash on me otherwise I would have used it. Im kicking myself now.

This totally happens to DH and I all the time, bc. i scrutinize every debit card and credit card purchase.
If he even tries to surprise me with something, I usually know he is making up stories.
