My doctor's office called tonight....

....to see why I didn't come in for my 8 week sonogram today.

Thank God DH answered the phone.


On another note, I think I've asked it before, but for those of you who have had a chemical, did your cycle return to normal right after? I'm due to ovulate any day now, but I'm not really having any signs.

after chemical, drs prefer to wait for a month, since they think uterus is inflammed. just wanted to let you know to ask about this.

I didnt have a chemical. Well I never had a heartbeat and had an empty sac for weeks and ended with a D&C.

Anyway I didnt have many signs of ovulation, no EWCM or anything but I had a follow up sono and they did tell me I was about to ovulate and I got a positive OPK on day 14. Also TMI but when she poked in the ovary with the sono wand, it did hurt a bit. Anyway this was 2 weeks after my D&C that I so-called-ovulated. And I am supposed to wait 1 cycle to ttc. So no I didnt have many signs. Now I am waiitng to O again and TTC, I just got AF.

I had a chemical and my cycle did return to normal the following month. After the chemical I started using digital OPK's and according to them I did ovulate on schedule.

Sorry about the call from the Dr. They really need to try to be more vigilant about women who experience something like this. It really stings.

I am so sorry that happened to you. Something very similiar happened to me; not 1 week after my d&c did the insurance company call to congratulate me on my pregnancy..while i was at work. I didn't know what to say and just burst into tears. I know how you feel, it's tjese types of things that bring back all those raw feelings.
