My Doctors office doesn't test diapers for allergies...what should I do?
I go to a highly recommended ped (Dr. Cavanagh), but today the oncall doc called me back and said they don't do this. I want to eliminate that this could be the problem. What should I do???

Get a pediatric gastroenterologist referral, they will do it.

Maybe there is a mis-communication going on? Usually the diaper is tested to see if there is blood in the stool which can be an indicator of a milk protein or other food allergies. They can't actually test the stool to see if there is an allergy.
After my son's diaper showed microscopic blood particles he had blood testing done to determine if there were any food allergies or if it was a different problem.
