My dog cracks me up
He is so funny, really.
I am downstairs in our office and just opened a krimpet. He was all the way upstairs in bed and came all the way down the stairs, down the hall, and into the office in hopes of getting some of the krimpet.
I can open any plastic bag....it doesn't matter if it has food in it or not...he automatically assumes it does. He gets SO serious when he is begging.

Re: My dog cracks me up
my dog does the same thing, and also when I come home from food shopping, she sticks her nose in all the bags looking for her treat. I always get her a treat when I go to the supermarket

Re: My dog cracks me up
What's funny is my CAT is like that. Anytime I'm cutting food on my counter he automatically assumes its for him and starts meowing at my feet and rubbing up and down on my legs. He gets quite impatient.
We have a routine in the morning. When I wake up I go downstairs and feed the managerie of animals in my house. I then go upstairs and get ready. I do most of my "getting ready" in my bedroom. The cat sits on my bed patiently waiting until I'm done getting ready. I then say, "okay, come on. time for breakfast" and he follows me downstairs and we both walk to his food bowl, him leading the way, and I give him his treats.

Sounds just like my cat! She is an expert begger! I swear she is part dog! She also does the thing where she "leads the way" to her food bowl. Just in case I forgot where it was!
