My DS hit his front teeth tonight UPDATE
Well my 4 yr old was horsing around with the dog and feel into the chair and hit his 2 front teeth now they are loose and the gums look bruised .
What a way to start the New Year off.
Off to the Dentist tomorrow .
Dont want to hear the news I am afraid that they are going to pull them
Keep youre fingers crossed that they dont have to ...
Well when I seen them last night I knew working for a DDS for 11 yrs.
The one front is fractured and is going to either fall out or I have to pull
My poor DS will be without a front tooth for about 1 year and a half.
My DH is a hockey puck so he is like YEAH he will look like a real hockey player. My son was so happy to see his Dad excited he doesnt even know the deal .
Well I guess thank god it could be worse ?? I think ??

Oh I hope everything turns out ok. The good thing is that at least they are still baby teeth.

my son did this at 18 months and his teeth turned completely black. so off to the dentist we were that day and they took xrays. thank god there was no damage to the big boy teeth (they can tell) and the black teeth turned back to almost the right color. now his adult teeth are in and they are perfect!! good luck!

Patrick had his 4 front teeth removed 2 years ago. people don't even notice it.

I had my 2 front teeth pulled when I was 3. They didn't grow in until I was 9!!!  By that time people just knew that was "me". Don't sweat it. Just do what needs to be done, and everybody will get used to it.

Poor baby. I am so sorry. I'm so glad to hear he's okay. My son (13 mos) fell last month and lost one of his front teeth  so I know how you feel. I'm still upset that he won't have a front tooth for 6 plus years, but what can you do. I pray to God everyday that it wasn't something worse. Lots of to you. Oh and and my DH wants to tell our son he lost his tooth doing a "hat trick" hockey move.
