My e-ring - one of the prongs is BENT!
What do I do? Think I can convince DH to have it completely reset in a new setting 
In the meantime I am not going to wear it, I am so afraid of the diamond falling out. It is a 6 prong and 2 of the prongs are literally squished side by side. I have no idea how this happened.

oh wow - that's not good!
I would try for the lower setting if you're rough enough on your hands to bend prongs...isn't this beautiful?

Do you sleep with your ring on? Many times prongs bend if you sleep with any jewelry on.
Good luck getting it fixed!

I dont sleep with them on...but I do sometimes have them on when I do housework laundry etc...
I shall speak to the hubs.

mine too!!!!!!!!!!!!!
first, one of the tops broke off the prong (the part covering the diamond, holding it in)
so i brought it to Barclay in Smithhaven to have fixed.... they made me buy a complete new "basket."
they did, and then like a month later one of the prongs fomr the NEW basket they made me buy was bent.
so, on hte left hand side the two that should be on the top and bottom (NW & SW prongs in relation to hte diamond) are completely in hte middle (or both just plain "west")
i hope that makes sense.
i lost the reciept so i never went back. i was pizzed though.
ive been wearing it like this for, god, i dunno, over a year now. and its completely fine.
