My experiance at Westbury Houlihan's yesterday
So DH & I decide to go to Houlihan's for lunch yesterday. The restaurant was not full since it was only 3pm so the hostess seats us in a row near the kitchen that has only one other table occupied.
Anyway, DH & I notice different waiters constantly walking by & looking under empty booths in our row with a flashlight & during this time a couple of thm say to eachother that they "cannot see it."
At that moment, I am thinking that I do not want to think the worst expecially since Houlhan's was one of my favorite places to eat.
Then the manager runs over to us & frantically asks us if we would mind moving to a table in the next row.
As we were leaving the table some employees ran out of the kitchen with a broom & a small cardboard box & contunued their search under the booths. At this point, I am trying to turn my head to see what they are looking for but the manager is still behind us trying to hurry us to the next row of tables so I couldn't see anything.
Then she begins to tell us that she will give us a free appetizer & dessert & never really explained WHY were were getting this free food.
As we were sitting down again to our new table we hear the broom scratching & the box hitting the floor & several waitresses who were in that area scream.... DH & I looked at eachother & we ran the hell out before even placing our order!
We never actually saw anything but it was obvious what is was.. just wanted to share.

That sucks -
Sometimes things like that are just not avoidable where there is food - But no one ACTUALLY wants to experience it !!!
