My face looks like a connect the dots!!
Help! This is my 3rd pregnancy and I'm breaking out on my face horribly. This had never happened to me before ever. What are we allowed to use to help clear this up? TIA

My doctor said that proactive was fine -but I think it stopped working for me - I found an organic line of cleansers/toners -
Aubrey's Organics. The price is good and so far it's really really worked. I had problem skin (very oily) pre-pregnancy and once I got the BFP it was like my face exploded - the Aubreys stuff has really helped my face. . . and my esteem.

My doctor said that proactive was fine -but I think it stopped working for me -
I have been using the proactive cleanser and toner but not the nightime lotion. I was afraid to. Do you use the lotion at night also?

yes - I used all three - but I think I hit a plateau with it. . . this happened a few years ago too and I went off it for a while, then went back and it was working again.
oh the joys of problem skin! I pray that our child has DH's complexion - his skin is PERFECT and I'm like a spotty monster

Me too!!! My face has been horrible since I got pregnant. It's so embarrassing. I def. don't have that pregnancy "glow", just pimples. LOL. I am going to try using the proactiv nightime lotion and see if that helps at all.

I think I'm just going to not wear any makeup on halloween and tell people that I'm dressed up as a 13 year old - I definitely have the complexion!

I broke out really bad in my first trimester - my doctor really didn't want me to use Proactive. I used cetaphil liquid soap and the pink Clinque toner (has witch hazel in it) and it worked after a couple of weeks of regular use. My face is totally clear again. It could be that my body adjusted to all the change and it cleared on its own...but I thought I'd share.

No he didn't want me to use Salicylic Acid - maybe I said the wrong color - the toner is the 2nd one (Clarifying Lotion 2) - it has no Salicyclic acid in - it has witch hazel in it.

yep, that is what I use. the first ingredient is witch hazel but way towards the bottom salicyclic acid is listed. I doubt there's much, but it is definitely in there (maybe they recently redid the formula - I bought it about a month ago??).
