My family doesn't like vegetables need dinner ideas
I like some vegetables, but DH and DD won't eat any, so it's hard to make different things. Any ideas that don't contain vegetables. We don't like our food to touch either, so anything all mixed together isn't going to work.

What about mashed potatoes or something similar to a stove top stuffing as a side?
Any carb or different types of bread would work. They have so many breads now with stuff in it, garlic, onion, olives, etc.

Forgive me if I am not understanding (I'm not that bright sometimes! ) - but it sounds like all you need are some regular dinner suggestions with no veggie or salad side dishes. Stir fry and casseroles need not apply!
If I'm right you can do pretty much anything.. just leave off the veggie suggestions:
Swedish meatballs with noodles as a side Roasted chicken with mashed potatoes on the side Seared tuna on a bed of cous cous Hamburgers with potato salad Hot dogs with mac salad Veal milanese with orzo Pork chops with roasted potatoes Shrimp with rice Breaded chicken cutlets with mac and cheese Tacos without tomato, guac, lettuce or onion Pancakes and bacon Onion and potato frittata

I would train them to eat veggies.
I could not serve just a meat and a starch. it's just not healthy. especially for the child.
but beside that, I'd say what Jeannie said. just make anything and skip the veggie.
you can't make fajitas, stir fry, most soups or stews...
so just meat/potato/rice/pasta it.

I'd have to agree... veggies are healthy and a lighter side. What about hiding the veggies in a dish... like mac and cheese with broccoli. Ravioli stuffed with cheese and spinach, etc

I will toss in that I completely agree about making the veggies anyway. My husband is not a big veggie eater but he knows they are going on the table with every meal because there are some health benefits that can't be denied.
Keep TRYING - look for different methods and different combos until you find something they like. There are lots of ways to dress them up like honeyed carrots - roasted asparagus wrapped with ham - green beans with balsamic glaze - broccoli with a drizzle of cheese sauce - spinach with warm bacon dressing. Interactive veggies are good for kids too - Edamame and Snap peas are big in my house. Sometimes they just like raw veg - so I'll steam my carrots and give them a bunch of raw baby carrots with a little dip. They KNOW we have a rule - they will eat a fruit or veg at every meal. It's worth the effort to keep looking and find something that works! Good luck!

Re: My family doesn't like vegetables need dinner ideas
I'm not crazy about most veggies either, so I try to "spice" them up :)
I'm really liking asparagus right now, but you can do this with almost any veggie, saute in some lite olive oil, garlic, salt & pepper and sprinkle with some bread crumbs, this is good in a pan on top of the oven and I have even baked it.
Another fav, is lightly coat veggies in olive oil and sprinkle lightly with salt (zucchini, asparagus, yellow squash, mushrooms, hickima, rutabaga, etc) and GRILL them, DEEEELISH!!!
Of course if none of these appeal, you can ALWAYS just add cheese, cheese makes everything better :)
