My fellow fair skinned beauties - need a good foundation!
Recommend yours please - I have been dropping hints as subtle as elephant steps that I want a GC to Sephora, so recommend any foundation you love...
Looking for something light - I don't have blemishes to cover up, just like my skin to look smooth and dewy, but want my skin to show through!!!

Re: My fellow fair skinned beauties - need a good foundation!
A liquid? I usualy wear Bare Minerals, b/c it comes in a few very light shades & b/c its' a powder, blends better.
For liquid, I have Nars Balanced Foundation in Mont Blanc.
I tried Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer on in Sephora, but none of the colors seemed right for me, and the oil free, sunk into my pores too much.
A lot of people love it though--tinted mositurizers are good if you want dewey & don't have a lot to cover.

I use Bare Minerals in Fair - it's the only foundation I've ever worn where I really feel like it doesn't look like I'm wearing any makeup at all, just have good skin. It blends so easily, too.

I really really like Aveda Inner Light Liquid Foundation. I use the Kasha color.
It's so light and just evens out skin tone, without feeling like I am wearing another layer of make-up. Very natural.

I would recommend a tinted moisturizer for you Liza. you don't need foundation.
the LM is great.
I use the Stila Illuminating. it's just as good and a tad cheaper.

I am on this bandwagon as well. I am one of the fairest in the land and I love the BE stuff.

I also use BE. I can't stand liquid foundation anymore.
You don't need much.

Does Bare Minerals REALLY cover? I have many dark spots from acne scars and nothing I have works on hiding them

I use BE Fairly Light as a concealer and Fair as foundation. Between the two, I swear, it looks like I have flawless skin (and trust me, I DON'T). I get a horrible reaction to the sun, and no matter what I do, walk around from May to October with little red bumps on my face. Once I'm done putting this makeup on, you can't see them at all.
