My fellow October Mommys to be...
Anyone dressing there NEW baby up this halloween...
I bought the baby a one piece little outfit that says babys 1st trick or treat... with the matching socks and bib of course...
DH insists the baby is a monkey... we arent going anywhere or anything (figuring this baby comes on time and he'll be here on HAlloween) Im sure family will stop by and just snap a pic or 2 though....
I saw a few one piece monkey costumes...but it just looks like sooo much for a little baby..
I mean the one piece outfit he'll prob wear all day..and do the monkey thing just for a few pics...
Any of you thinking about this yet???

ETA: Just realized the smallest one is 3-6 months. Too big for you - sorry!!!
They have the cutest costumes from Lillian Vernon... they also have a monkey. It doesn't look like too much for an infant to wear. Maybe only put the hat on for the pics. There are so many cute ones! I can't wait to have a little baby to dress up. All from www.lillianvernon.com

Re: My fellow October Mommys to be...
You and I are due around the same time I think...
Our baby will be here for Halloween, but I'm not going to take it trick or treating so I'm not doing the whole costume thing. I have an outfit from BRU that my DH picked up recently when we were there. It says "My Little Pumpkin" and has matching booties, bib and hat. I also had my shower today and we got a "baby's first boo" bib and an "I Love my Mummy" t-shirt. That'll be it's halloween garb. I'll wait until next year to do the costume thing.
However, if you go to onestepahead.com they have TONS of awesome costumes, many of them in infant sizes. We're just chosing not to do it just yet since the baby will be so young.

Re: My fellow October Mommys to be...
I was in Carter's today & I will probably buy the onsies that I saw in there. They had a few cute ones. And they had adorable booties w/ pumpkins in them. I think it depends on what size/weight they are going to be.

Re: My fellow October Mommys to be...
Not sure yet. Since my EDD is Oct 22, that takes me in to the first week of Novemeber for having the baby and I'm not sure if I'll need a costume. We'll probably wait last minute and if anything get just a onsie or something.

I'm due the 22, I am pretty sure I am going early (especially with all the problems I have been having). I will just get the stretchie that says 1st Halloween that I saw in BRU.
