My first 2WW-and this is KILLING me!!!
First, I want to thank everyone here for all of the great advice and helpful info. After dinner tonight, DH and I went to get a few HPTs to keep in stock, since (hopefully) I am not down for the count this month.
The wait is driving me crazy though! I am CD 22 (23 as of midnight) and I want to POAS so bad in one way, but I am so scared of the disappointment I know I will feel when I get a BFN. I am trying not to get my hopes up, since it is our first month trying, and I am trying to use my non preggo time productively (both DH and I are making an appointment with a nutritionist to discuss healthy eating habits to increase fertility and a healthy pregnancy diet, we are going to start walking tomorrow, I quit smoking again). If I get a BFN this month, I decided that we are going to get an OPK and seriously get committed to our health-a baby needs healthy parents, right?
I am just so scared that something is going to go wrong or something bad is going to happen. I overanalyze every ache and pain (TMI alert-I am getting a weird pain around my nipples that makes me want to scream if DH touches me that I never get-see, there I go again!).
This is tough...I have to hand it to everyone for being on this emotional roller coaster! God Bless everyone here and lots of

first of all - BIG TIME congrats on quitting smoking!
the wait is never ever easy...we all tend to overanalyze every single body 'tingle, pain or quirk' during the wait.
you are doing the right thing - the smoking, seeing a nutritionist, etc...take solace in that - you are trying to improve yourself for your 'soon to be baby'...

Sounds like you are doing everything right. I can tell you this the 2WW does not get any easier!

Congrats on quitting smoking.. Im trying to do the same. Any tips you have let me know!!!
But our first month of trying I overanylzed everything!!! now..Im much calmer about the whole thing. I think you need that first month of CRAZINESS to get it out of your system.

The first month I POAS every day practically. This month I'm saying that I'm much more patiend...but I know if I get a BFN I'll be more disappointed then I was last month. Hopefully it gets easier.
