My first knitting project!

I finally finished my first knitting project! I made a baby blanket for my best friend who lives in Ohio...she was out on LI this weekend and I was able to give it to her in person (rather than mail it).

I was able to teach myself from a book and the internet and also with the help of a friend from work.

If anyone is looking for a really easy beginner pattern...let me know...this was easy.

I don't think I'm going to graduate to anything but squares and rectangles for a while. I wish I could have done matching hat and booties to go with the blanket....but have no idea how to do this. LOL.

actually, check this pattern out...it's really simple!

5 hour baby sweater

I found it online when I first learned to knit and I thought I would just play around with it, but it turned out okay! Just basic P and K stitches with a few k2tog

Putting the pieces together would be a problem...I don't know how to sew or crochet!
