my first lamaze/birth class starts next week - got a question

When I talked to the lady, I asked her how much it costs and she said $25. I assume she meant $25 per class (which is weekly and would make it actually $125). Now, another assumption of mine is that that's not per person. DH is definitely going to come with me, but they wouldn't charge HIM, right?? I didn't even think of it until way later. I'm kind of nervous because paying double would be a bit much, but I definitely need him there with me. Anyone know how that usually works?

The teacher is supposed to call me next week anyhow, so I'll definitely ask then but just curious if anybody could shed some light beforehand.

We're taking our Labor & Delivery class at the hospital I'll be delivering at -- it starts next Monday for us too!

Ours was $85 for the 5-week course and they expect you to come with a birthing partner. They sent me a book in the mail and told me it's my coursebook and to review it before class starts. I'm about halfway through it right now and already feel like I've learned so much!

Do you have the course description? I can't imagine it would be a per-person fee... I think most classes assume the mother-to-be has a support partner.

yeah, i would have to assume that they would expect your SO to be there. I feel like it would be wrong to charge him too.

Wow... ours was 300/per couple for 6 weeks! $25 a class is a deal! I can't imagine that they'd charge you and your DH seperately.

Mine start next week also and its $125 per couple for 5 weeks. I dont think they will charge your DH too but I would double check.
