My first official question
So...my shower was only last weekend (August 26), and then baby Mollie decided to show up early...and I haven't done my thank-you's for the shower yet. Can I put a birth announcement in with the shower thank-you and send them together...or should I do 2 separate mailings?

Re: My first official question
I say do whats easier for you-
Having a baby 7 weeks early is gotta be even more stressful than just having a baby-
Im sure people will understand....

Re: My first official question
I printed up thank you note stationary with his picture in the corner. It came out really cute.

mrs. "i'm not going to do birth announcements"
i haven't even gotten around to mine yet
i was going to do the same thing with baptism thank you's, but thought it was silly because everyone who came met DD! in your case i don't think it's silly, i think it's fine either way...
Well...I wasn't planning on doing them...but since she is here, I figured I could kill 2 birds with 1 stone

Re: My first official question
The same thing happened to me. What I did was send out my announcements and included a typed letter thanking everyone for the shower gifts from the the baby's point of view. That way you don't have to sit and write out an individual TY to everyone. I got great feedback. everyone thought it was great.
