My flower bed with PICS!
DH and I definitely don't have a green thumb, but this is the first project we took on together in the garden!
With the ugly tree covering the light post. It took us 4 months to find out how to turn the light on!
Without the Tree and saw how bad the lightpost actually was.
Today after painting the post, adding flowers and mulch and a new bench under the window.

looks great! i think we used to have the same tree in our old yard... they get pretty white puff balls on them in the summer... but definitely grow fast! we were always cutting ours back! haha
what kind of flowers are those that you planted?? love the colors... just be careful because we could still get a frost that could damage them-- if it gets cold out at night, you might want to cover them...
