My friend in New Zealand
Sorry to crash, but I thought you girls would be the ones to ask:
My good friend in New Zealand just had twin boys and I wanted to buy her a little gift. She is from New Zealand and lives in New Zealand; I met her while I was living abroad. I wanted to get her something "New York" or "American." Can you think of what she might like? She's not registered and I'm so clueless.

I can't think of anything "American" or "New York" specifically, but my favorite thing to get for a new mom/new baby is this blanket from PBK. I like to get it monogrammed too.

Maybe baby sized I Love NY shirts? (in addition to other things)
ETA: I was just thinking also some onesies or clothes from American sports teams! Like Yankees or something!

I agree, NY Centric onesies would be a big hit! I saw a newborn baby at babygroup on Friday wearing a Morrissey onesie, it was awesome, so I say get her an IheartNY one or a Yankees one.

And thank you everyone for the ideas. I think an I :heart: NY onesie/bib or Yankees thing might be the way to go. But those onesies above are adorable too...
