My friend is pregnant and finding out the sex
But is only telling me and her DH until the shower....then they are telling everyone there.
So, I guess I am going to have to do gender neutral unless they tell before the gifts

I've never heard of that before. Sounds like they'll be getting lots of yellow and green!

Thats dumb, why go through with finding out if your not going to tell everyone, she will be getting tons of yellow and green at her shower, instead of getting pink or blue which is better!

That's what my DH said too. LOL.
I would think it would make everyone feel bad about getting her yellow or green, you know??
But I think no one has ever found out in her family...

One of the reasons we found out the gender of both DC is because we don't really like yellow or green. I understand and respect some parents not wanting to know the gender, but to know and not tell anyone else seems unusual.

I agree it's unusual, but maybe they want to make 1 big announcement AT the shower with everyone around? It's their calll to make in the end.
