My goddaughter Eva Cecilia
I never got to post about my cousin's new daughter, my goddaughter Cecilia . . . .
My cousin never went through natural labor with her two children- once was a scheduled c-section and one was induced.
When in labor with Eva, she had a slow leak and didn't know her water broke. She went into shock- her entire body was shaking very badly and ended up with a 102 fever (ended up she got some kind of infection). They took her in for an Emergency c-section. It took them 40 minutes just to get the epidural into her spine because of the shaking.
The baby was born 9 lbs- but had fluid in her lungs and Billy Reuben type Jaundis (sp?)
Everyone is home now and doing well, so I thought I would post a picture of the little princess!

Bri, she is beautiful and I'm so glad she's doing well now.
Just so you know..the jaundice is called hyperbilirubiniema.
ETA: I'm not trying to be a know it all - we just went over this in my internship seminars!
