My haircut vs. Dh's cut
My haircut:
Preparation starts out months in adavance. I get my haircut at a special salon for curly hair in the city with 2 other curly haired friends. We coordinate a date that all works for us and then make an appointment at least 6wks in advance followed my multiple emails and phone calls to coordinate a time, place and method of transportation. Then the research begins on what type of cut to get. I search the internet, magazines, and even the television trying to find the perfect look for me. Confused and frustrated I walk into the salon still not sure what to get. I start describing to my stylist what I'm looking for and after several minutes of discussion we agree on something. I get my hair washed, cut, rinsed, conditioned then styled go under the hair dryer and then the finishing touches. I walk out and hour and a half later happy with my new look but also between transportation, the price of the cut, tips and products a whole lot poorer.
DH's haircut:
He wakes up this morning decides he needs a haircut jumps in the car to his barber sees a barber shop closer to the house walks into that one tells the barber buzz me. $8 and 10minutes later he walks out pleased.

Re: My haircut vs. Dh's cut
Until recently, my DH didn't know that most women get their hair washed before it's cut and styled. He thought we were just like guys and got our hair sprayed with water from a bottle.

I wish I could just get up & get a haircut the day I felt like it! I'm so bad at making appointments!

DH and I go to the same place. He goes to the same stylist too. He's fancy!

Re: My haircut vs. Dh's cut
My haircut is even easier... DS and my hair was getting "long"... (2-3 inches), so one night, while DW was shopping, I just took the clippers, put on the correct offset, and buzzed his head and mine. 30 minutes later, we both had a perfect haircut... Too much effort actually driving to a barber....
