My hands are covered in neosporin and bandaids-- need help!

It's a combination of the cold and the harsh chemicals/medicines I have to handle daily, but three of my fingers are cracked and bleeding and the rest of my hands are dry all over.

I looked at the bliss hand gloves on sephora.com, but for $48, I wanted reviews.

I have loccataine hand cream, and I do use it, but I can'tt touch my face after applying it and honestly, it's not even strong enough.

Any reviews on the bliss gloves or suggestions for my poor hands?

ITA -

They sell cheap cotton gloves at Target, and probably CVS, if you want to use your hands.

I did this the other night Chat Icon It's what my mom used to do when I was little and it always worked. Better than any cream on the market IMO.

Don't use any fancy creams, most of them have some kind of aromatics that will only get your hands look and feel worse!!

My hands get the same way in the winter and I strongly recommend any Hydrocortisone cream that you can get OTC at any pharmacy. I use it and it really really works on those bleeding cracks.

Neutrogena hand cream has always worked best for me - the plain old hand cream - I think the package just says Norwegian formula now, but it used to say something about fishermen.

Bag balm. It's like gold in a can. They use it for cracked cow utters ( I kid you not) sold in cvs. Best stuff ever.

Yes I do the same. Everything I ever needed to know about soft hands I learned from Curley in "Of Mice and Men" .

Re: My hands are covered in neosporin and bandaids-- need help!

also get a parafin wax machine. i got one in walmart by dr. scholls for maybe $30 i think. it comes with the wax to melt and although it takes 2 hours to fully melt down, you put your hands in the wax 5 times to cover it well, and then put the big fluffly gloves on. sooo nice!

if you dont want to buy the machine, nail places often have parrafin manicures/hand treatments.

aquaphor ointment is really good stuff too. I use in on DS and my dry cuticles.
