My high chair was recalled!!!
Okay I loved this high chair!!! it is currently on my registry but just says not available. My shower isn't until November.
Is fisher price offering anything to fix these charis??? I thought I saw on the news they were going to offer covers for the exposed screws that are on the legs. Do you think they will put a revised item on the market? or should i just get a back up plan?
Obvioulsy, I will take it off if there is no way to fix it. I don't want my LO to get hurt. But I am just wondering if I should wait to see what happens.
anyone know???

They should find a solution to all these recalls.. Some items are just adorable.. But its for the safety of the LO..

I would just return it for now. You're not even going to be using the highchair for a few months after the baby is born so you have plenty of time to pick out a new one, or a fixed version of the one you already chose.

That stinks, because you loved it so much.
Personally, I never even bothered with a high chair with DS. Once he was 6 months and starting solids I used the FP booster seat. One similar to this:
Its $30 and well worth every penny IMHO. DS is 2 and still uses it everyday! Where as if we had a high chair he probably would have been out of it by his first birthday. I would have had to buy a booster for him anyway. Might as well just skip over the high chair. KWIM?
