My Homemade "Candied" Apples
Kinda a craft post as well. As gifts, decided to do these myself and I'm hoping they taste as good as they look.
All of them are Caramel and then chocolate covered and then I made a Chocolate sprinklel/mini M & m one...a peanut butter chip/Chocolate chip one, an Everything one, a coconut, chocolate crunchy one and a Pecan/Chocolate crispy one.

dipped them in melted caramel...let harden in fridge for an hour. Melted chocolate with some vegtable shortening...re dipped them into chocolate and then rolled them into the toppings and fridge for about 3 hours to harden.
The key is getting the caramel to the right consistency...not too easy.
