My humidifer is my new best friend!
I finally got a humidifer- it was on clearnace in Target for $17 no less!
Let me tell you what a difference that thing made.
The night before last I kept waking up with horrible pain in my nose and sinuses from the dry air- then I woke up yesterday with a horrible sinus headache that would not quit all day!
I used the humidifer last night and was amazed at how comfortably I slept and how I woke up with so much less congestion and sinus pain!
I was going to use this for the nursery but I think we'll have to buy baby her own- this one is MINE!! 
Just wanted to share- i know a lot of us preggos suffer with our sinuses- especially with the dry heat. Definitely worth the purchase!!

You know it's funny because I was expecting there to be a stream of mist or steam coming out of it like a vaporizer- but it just kind of blew fresh smelling air.
I didn't think it was working- but the instructions said that is normal.
And my little humidity gauge that I have in my room went up into the humid zone by morning... so maybe it wouldn't curl your hair as bad as you think!

I've had a sinus infection for 10 days and finally went to the dr last night. After reading this post, I am heading to Target after work to buy one! Thanks!

I am headed to BBB to buy one today. I have a coupon. Do you think have the ceiling fan on at night will effect how useful the humidifer is?

Can I ask you girls which humidifiers you have?? I have a sharper image one and I feel like it's not helping at all - my nose is still very dry.
I need one that will keep my room humid!! Do you keep the door closed? Also did you sleep with it by your side?

I got a Holmes- didn't do much research just saw it on clearance and was like- $17 is for me!
It's not too big- I keep it on my dresser but you can keep it on a nightstand.
It's a bit noisy- just to warn you- I keep it on the lower fan setting...and it does pump out some cool air- so try to keep it away from your bed as much as you can.
But to me- totally worth it.

I do keep the door closed - because my cats would wake me up all night otherwise!
I keep it on my dresser- about 5 feet from my bed maybe...in the morning my humidity gauge was way up from when I went to bed so it was definitely working...just be warned, it's a bit loud and it does produce a bit of a cool breeze.

I keep a space heater on all night- hence the dry nose...so I don't think a fan would affect it- if the space heater didn't the fan shouldn't either!

is it a "cool mist" humidifier?
was in the store and saw they have all different kinds....i see on these boards everyone says for baby to use a cool mist one....just wondering what is the difference between the cool mist and the other humidifiers?

I got the cool mist- they say it harbors less bacteria than the warm mist ones.
