My husband's morning
DH works full time. He typically leaves the house around 6:45, before the baby woke up. This morning, the baby woke up right before he left so DH decided to give me a few minutes extra sleep and go in a few minutes late. He has 2 co-workers that he is very close with. One, his direct boss, has a son a month younger than DS so they always "compare" what the boys are up to developmentally (not really compare, just discuss - you know  ). He sent these 2 guys this e-mail this morning:
I had the luxury of spending some time with my offspring this morning.
First he pointed to the diaper as he knows he gets changed in the am. Then when I put the cream on he waved by bye to the ouchies. Then he put the diaper in the genie, an activity he loves.
We watched tv and he danced to musical mornings. He then brought me to the frig to get gatorade. He really enjoyed the gatorade. Then he brought me to the high chair and asked for a nanna. Loves the nanna aka bananna. Elmo had a nanna on sesame street too.
Then we went to his play room and he made me a drink in his play kitchen using the play facuet. It was yummy.
We then went upstairs to get mommy and he woke he up with a kiss. He then asked to go down so he could watch sesame street.
Elmo was counting so Jeremy counted too. He counts to tree. One two tree.
His favoritie number is two.
Do you have a favorite number?
Oh and we waive hi and bye to every inanimate object in the house.
If only life were as simple as it is at 21 months.

I got all teary eyed when he sent this to me. I know he loves our son but reading this just got me all choked up that he "cared" so much

awww, that was really sweet. I can see why you got teary eyed. I also got a laugh out of it too....there is just so much innocence.
