My invite using online photos

Ive done this a few times in the past with invites/announcements/cards etc.

Cloddy, I didnt want to hijack your post, so I posted this separately.

I usually use kodakgallery or snapfish or a few others.

Since cvs.com was offering 30 free prints,I tried it out (placed the order at midnite last nite to be picked up in store, called the store at 10am since I was driving by and the guy was nice enough to bring it out to me since I asked for that favor with 3 kids in the car Chat Icon )

Theyre on Kodak paper and the quality is excellent! Theyre glossy, although I prefer matte, but for free photos and delivery to my car, who am I to talk

I did a few trials because I couldnt get the text to fit in right above or below the photo, there was no room, so the one I winded up using was the last one, and I did the photo in sepia so that the words would show better (the colorful balls in the ballpit were too much to fit words ON the photo.

I always do a little rhyme on our invites.
This one says
GrandSlam Homerun Touchdown Goal, Let's Play Ball, We're on a roll
Chat Icon Let's kickoff our little slugger's 3rd bday...etc.

This is the best I can do as far as size, cvs.com is not allowing me to "save as" when the photo is in bigger format Chat Icon I did save it HUGE on a word doc, so I can email anyone that wants to see how it comes out.

nothing fancy, I dont make time to teach myself my photoshop software so I just use these quickie simple ones.
I think picasa is also decent.

there are lots of borders to play with on the software, nothing great but not terrible. and I added baseballs/basketballs to the photo. as well as a border.

u can hit ALT + PRINT SCREEN to copy the image/window on your computer screen, then paste that onto photoshop or paintshop, do a bit of cropping and you'll get a good web copy of your work since cvs only allows to save a teeny tiny pic.
