My kid is so strange!
DD gets swaddled at naptimes and bedtime. She likes to sleep with her hands out.. arms up above her head. Yet, when we swaddle her we HAVE to swaddle her with her arms in the swaddle me, otherwise she will scream and cry. She will then spend 10+ minutes "escaping" the swaddle just so she can sleep with her arms above her head. Doesn't she realize it would make her life so much easier to just let us swaddle her arms out to begin with?
