My knees are killing me-anyone have ideas to make me feel better?
My knees have been absolutely killing me, especially when I sleep-if they are straight they hurt, if they are bent, they hurt.
I am pretty sure that it is from all of the extra weight I am carrying (another reason why I can't wait to get into shape after Miss Bean arrives)-I do walk when I can, but it is not really helping.
Anyone else have this? Any ideas how to ease up the pain? I would prefer not to take anything even though I do wind up taking Tylenol.
I am going to be 35 weeks on Sunday.

have you tried ice and heat? or if you can't sit with your legs up to do that maybe just some iceyhot? epsom salt soakes help for my feet and ankles (pre and during pg) maybe a quick epsom salt bath?

I agree with these and my knees hurt at night when I lay down...having DH rub them helps a little!

I have bad knees and with pregnancy they have only gotten worse not to mention i ended up hurting my "good' knee.
The only thing to do while preggo is the RICE method:
R - Rest
I - Ice (heat sometimes works better for me)
C - Compression
E - Elevation
I take tylenol sometimes but it really doesn't do much...the heating pad on the knees does wonder for me

stay off them?!    
i keeeeeeeeed, elevate, DO NOT HEAT (increases swelling, ICE instead!) and take some tylenol for the pain

Dude, don't even joke-I haven't been able to get on my knees even to clean since early 2nd tri!
He is not getting that done right now!
