My Level II appointment
I went for my level II this afternoon and left very disappointed. The baby is breech so she couldn't see all the organs and measure everything. She also couldn't tell the gender. She said I'm measuring 16 weeks 5 days, and I think I'm 18 weeks 2 days. I'm confused...
I go to the dr. on Wednesday so hopefully she'll order another sonogram in a couple weeks so we can see everything.

Usually Level IIs aren't until 20 weeks or so.
Is there a reason they did it so early?

Sorry to hijack....
I'm going for mine on Wednesday and I'll be 17wks, 2 days.
It can be done anytime between 17wks to 20wks- at least that's what my Dr. told me....
I would ask the doctor for another sono- especially since the baby is measuring small....

My dr. said anywhere b/t 18 and 20 weeks is fine. I thought I was 18, but I guess not. I also don't know if the baby is measuring small or if I miscalculated. I was so irregular so I'm just not sure...

Yet another practice to practice thing I guess. Mine does it between 19 and 21. No earlier, no later.
So strange how each doctor seems to have different guidelines!!
