My Level II is Tuesday morning and I still cant decide whether or not to find out
We found out with DS and I didnt feel like my surprise was ruined. My dad on the other hand was upset that we found out and we tried keeping it from him and we did good then my FIL told him.
If we have a boy they will share a room so we only have to get another crib and a bookshelf to free up the space in his chest (I use it for storage now). If it is a girl I need to get all new furniture.
DH is also on the fence. We also have no boys names picked out (I thouht we did but that changed). It would be nice because then it would be a different from DS's pregnancy and I wont go crazy buying things now.
Anyone else on the fence?

i am definitely on the fence! dh wants to find out and i don't... i think we will end up compromising - find out or not this time, and then do the opposite for our next (God willing!).

I did not find out with my first, but had to with my second. To me, I had to know to plan, because we needed to get Andrew a big boy room if the new baby was a girl (and she was  ). I just gave us a little more time to prepare and set up.

DH and I wanted to find out. You could always ask them NOT to tell you but write it in your report.
You could always ask them to tell you later if you change your mind.

i'll tell you i had the same feelings. even when the dr. asked if we wanted to know i actually said i don't know! then all of a sudden i blurted out just tell me or i'll change my mind again! so she did and when i found out it was a  i was so happy i couldn't stop smiling. i thought i'd regret it but i really don't. you'll know if you want to know when you are there i think!

Well I went into Babystyle today and saw the most adorable outfit for a little girl. Perfect for her to come home in so that was enough, I need to know if it is a girl so I can buy it before someone else does

Well I went into Babystyle today and saw the most adorable outfit for a little girl. Perfect for her to come home in so that was enough, I need to know if it is a girl so I can buy it before someone else does
lol. my parents were upset when we found out the first time. they felt like they didn't know with us. but i thought it was great being able to plan. Especially with having a second. Do what you and your DH want.

JMO, but I wouldn't, I feel its so much more exciting not to find out, and it keeps family and friends on there toes in the waiting room too! lol
My DH was so excited to go out into the waiting room and let everyone know what the sex was......
It was very emotional and exciting for us too in the delivery room!

Just when I thought I wanted to know I saw my parents last night and my dad told me again not to find out. Now I think I am not going to find out and just buy the outfits I want for both genders and see which I get to use.
I hate being indesive. I guess I will find out Tuesday morning what my final answer is because I am sure it will change a few more times

I was on the fence the first time and my dh HAD to find out. I feel like this time it is me that HAS TO KNOW!!! I am obsessing over what the baby is going to be and I am only 14 weeks!!! So I doubt I would make it to the end.
If I were you I would find out just for the planning aspect..I know that I plan on moving my son to another room either way (boy/girl), but the clothing is a big consideration. I want a girl SO bad
