My little girl bites please help
I need some help. I am so upset because my sweet little princess has been biting other kids at the babysitter. I dont know what to do or how to handle this. She will bite her older brother at times but it is when he is really bothering her. I tell her know firmly. I know the babysitter will discipline her and tell her NO!!!. i really want this to stop becfore it gets worse. She reallly is a little bully . Sara wants what she wants and is determined. She is only 19 1/2 months what will happen in a few months
any suggestions will be great

Ugh! The only answer I have for you is to try screaming- dd bit me ONCE so hard she left teethmarks and a bruise and I screamed like a lunatic- she never bit again.
And I am not a screamer AT ALL- I actually hate screamers and screaming because my mom was a screamer and I swore I would never be like that. I think that was the only time I ever did it but it worked.
Also try time outs.
ETA dd was about that age at that time too- she is 22 months now.

Re: My little girl bites please help
Lots of people say biting back works. Of course, not too hard where it would leave a bruise, but enough for her to know you're not playing.
I'm not in that sitch yet so I'm not sure.
good luck

Probably not a popular choice, but my cousin finally did this with her DD. She started biting everyone and hurting her twin brother and older sister. Finally, she bit my cousin one night and my cousin bit her back and she never did it again. She had a shocked look on her face, stopped for a second and starred at her, cried and than that was it. I dont think it actually hurt her. I think she was more in shock it was the other way around. Seems kind of barbaric, but if she knows enough to bite to get her way, she'll understand its not nice when she gets bit herself.

I remember when my son started that. I bit him back not too hard but enough to stop him in his tracks. He never bit again.

Josh pulled two little girls' hair tonight, I wish they would have pulled his back to show him.
