My little girl has croup
Poor little thing...last night she scared me to death with all the wierd noises and breathing difficulty she was having....ehhh and the coughing is awful. How long does this take to go away?

HI, my son had croup when he was 1 1/2. Thank goodness for my mom helping me. Anyway, it took a few days then he was ok. It is actually good to have her out in the cool air. My son was given a steriod to control the croup but it didnt agree with him. I couldnt stand him being so sick it was scary. - Shari

Hand in there tonight - it always gets worse out night. Amazing how quickly the cold air works. I remember holding Joseph by a steaming hot shower & bringing him to an open window for the cold air to constrict the air passages.
Hope she feels better soon!

I hope she gets better soon! My niece is just getting over it. It takes a few days, then she will be fine.
