My little girl is a Pot Roast!!!!
Well we just got home from the doctors office and Ava gained 3 pounds in 1 month bringing her to 12lbs. 11oz (75%ile) and her height is 24 1/4 inches (90%ile) .....she is 11 weeks old! My little girl is turning into a giant!

Sarah is in the 75th for weight and 90th for height too. The doctor always says to her "Wow, you're going to be a super model!" LOL.
Are you tall? I'm 5'5", they think she'll be taller than me. DH is 6'4" and MIL is 5'10". DH is terrified she'll be as tall as his mom.

that is great marissa was like that as well once she starts crawling and walking she will thin out trust me marissa is doing that now

I just went to the Dr on Friday and Gianna is in the 90th for her height and just below the 25th for her weight She eats pretty good...I just feel like I am not doing a good job I feed her until she pushes the food away. Any advice

Is your doctor worried? Maybe they know she'll bulk up naturally. Sarah was a great eater until lately. I don't know if it's a combo from having a cold recently and then teething (she always wants more bottles than solid food when she's cutting a new tooth). I've also noticed that lately she will eat the whole jar of meat & veggie at lunch, but isn't that into cereal and fruit (which my dr said to give her at breakfast and dinner) When we go to see the dr again on Friday I'm going to ask if I can switch to 2 meats and 1 cereal a day, I feel like she'd get more solid food in her then. Good luck! Isn't it awful how we all think we aren't doing a good job? It's so stressful being a new mommy!

The Dr is not worried...I guess it is just more of me being worried. Thanks I wish she was more like Ava & Sarah and I am not used to someone in my family being called "under weight"

That is so great about her gaining so much! I can't wait to find out how much Emily weighs at her dr's appt on Monday!!!
It is so funny how we worry about whether or not we're doing a good job --- when we're all doing so great when you think about it!

I'm 5'5 also and DH is 5'10....but my parents are both really tall...my dad is 6'4 and my mom is 5'9.....so I guess she takes after that side. Plus when I was little my mom says I was the same way...the Dr's kept telling her I was going to be almost 6ft. In school I was always the tallest kid but after a while I just leveled off....I'm actually the shortest person in my family....must of been the the yucky cigarretes I smoked in high school...they stopped me from growing.
