My little tissue hoarder
Funniest story!
Alex is obsessed with taking tissues to bed with her at night in case she wakes up in the middle of the night with boogies  Don't ask, I don't know why.
A few nights she woke up crying bloody murder because she needed a tissue. For a few days now, before she goes to sleep, I've explained to Alex that there is no need to cry and that if she needs a tissue she can just get out of bed and get one for herself.
So last night as I'm putting her to bed, I grab a tissue for her to tuck under her pillow to ease her worries. I tell her no crying at night, right? She says no mommy, if I need a tissue, I just get out of bed, and get my tissue myself. I was like, um, ok, but you have a tissue here under your pillow so you won't need to do that.
So then I go downstairs to watch a little TV with DH. About 40 minutes into it, we both hear something upstairs. We think nothing of it, assuming it's the dog or cat, and go back to watching TV.
About 30 minutes later I go upstairs and go into Alex's room to check on her before I go to bed. And lo and behold, what do I see?
The kid is sound asleep, and right next to her head, on her pillow is a wad of about 50 tissues that she stole out of the bathroom and hoarded in her bed while we were watching TV downstairs 
I SERIOUSLY have the strangest kid sometimes!!

Mollie has an obsession with tissues too! She loves to take the box down and she says "I take one". Only, she does it 20 times

My SS is the same way! He is 13 now and he still can't go by a box of tissues without grabbing one! At least he doesn't stuff his pockets with them anymore!
I can't tell you how many tissues i ahve washed after not checking his pockets! What a mess it makes!
